What would you treat yourself to?

If....after all bills and necessities were taken care of, you found yourself with a spare £50 to buy yourself a treat, what would you use it for?

The only 'rule' is that it's just for you!

I think I'd treat myself to a funky looking house plant with one of those pots on a stand.

*Light-hearted answers please - I'm not trying to be 'tone-deaf', I know a lot of people are struggling just now, if you don't want to play just scroll on by 😘

I would take myself for a nice lunch with a cocktail.

Or perfume

Or something from Charlotte Tilbury

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 03/07/2022 07:44

A pedicure
A big bar of chocolate
Iced coffee
New book

OhThatChicken · 03/07/2022 08:00

I'd buy the Jarvis Cocker autobiography (only in hardback) then go alone to sit outside my favourite cafe to have their epic French toast, drink several coffees and read it.

JLwac · 03/07/2022 08:02

Books! I would buy 5 or 6 new books.

purpledagger · 03/07/2022 08:08

Something small but luxurious like a tinted lip balm and a nice lunch somewhere.

catfunk · 03/07/2022 08:29

A massage

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 03/07/2022 08:31

Yy to above

cushions
nice breakfast

husbandcallsmepickle · 03/07/2022 08:33

I've recently treated myself to a new Lego set (expensive hobby!)

Chanel05 · 03/07/2022 08:34

Probably a massage

reluctantbrit · 03/07/2022 08:35

Books - I normally only read on my kindle but like some book covers but paperbacks got so expensive.

WoundTheBobbinUp · 03/07/2022 08:37

Something pretty from Gemporia!

MoodyTwo · 03/07/2022 08:41

Some nice PJs (I could but a few sets from primark for £50)

TheSummerPalace · 03/07/2022 08:48
  1. Breakfast at a local cafe (it’s very nice, not a greasy spoon and not £50 either)
  2. Afternoon tea at a local stately home with free walk round gardens - it’s not NT
  3. Go to the theatre, part of the Ambassador group, so it’s West End productions or ballets, but not ticket prices
  4. Go on a steam train
CrystalCoco · 03/07/2022 13:36

Oh you ladies are all my kinda girls!

Love all of your treat ideas - I could even get into Lego I think!!

I've just had a look on Gemporia - fabulous, I'll definitely be heading there when
I've got some spare cash!

Happy Sunday everyone!
