I have a massive spot on my chin. I promised myself I wouldn’t touch it.

It didn’t even have a head but it was one of those ones that feels like Mount Etna.

I didn’t make it to the end of the day without squeezing it. I’m pushing 50 and I can’t be trusted with my own face.

Photos or it didn’t happen.

before and after please. Pre wipe once you’ve squeezed that fucker.

Come on, you owe it to yourself to give it a squeeze!
Pics and description, please.

PriamFarrl · 03/07/2022 00:23

I wouldn’t have minded had it gone pop in a decent way, or if I’d left it until it had a head.
No. Now I’ve just got an open wound on my chin.

If they're massive & painful, & refusing to come to a proper head, I put Sudocrem & a plaster on them. Kill or cure, it helps bring them out (usually) but sometimes it calms them down, & it does reduce the temptation to pick at them. During the day you need those invisible* spot patches.

*Not really invisible but they make a big angry red spot a lot less obvious than it would be if you keep picking at it. And they're usually medicated.

You are being unreasonable! The spot rules are - post in Sporners corner; photo of the spot; video of the squeezing!!!

Story of my life op

Yes you definitely need the little round spot plasters! I get mine on Amazon, have tried various brands but my favourite ones are called Breakout Choice. You can’t pick the spot when it’s covered and they also draw all the moisture and gunk out, it’s very satisfying. In the old days a big spot would take at least a couple of weeks to heal but with the plasters it’s more like a couple of days for me.

I get those on my chin... At 57, it's not fair I've got spots and wrinkles

Laiste · 03/07/2022 15:52

I hardly ever get spots anymore! :(

BUT yesterday i woke up and looked in the mirror and i had a beautiful big white head right next to my nose! First one in about 2 years! I went in too hard and too quick. One flick with my nail and it was gone and overwith without trace. ... oh i miss my teen hood ....
