I am starting to look for the forever family home, and this area would be ideal for seeing family who live in Bristol/ Bath. Thinking detached country cottage with land. I know nothing about the area, and wondered if the mumsnet community could help me out with good areas, not so good and so on. I always dreamed of living in a rural area in a detached property with total peace and quiet, and room for pets to roam. But also within driving distance of shops, medical clinics and so on. Any suggestions where I should be looking on rightmove? Thinking a budget of £500k.
