Potty training a sick kid?

2.5 year old - done great with first 3 days of potty training this week.

She's woken up with a bug today, feeling crappy and been throwing up through the night.

Are you supposed to keep going with the potty training despite this or regress? Feel like I've wasted the past few days if we're going to regress for an entire day but also just want her to be as chilled as possible?

I would take a break. If she has no energy she's not going to notice when she needs to wee, it's unfair to expect that from her. It's not regressing. And if she's throwing up she might well have some diahrroea later - that's much easier to deal with in nappies.

I’d give her a break from potty training until she is well. Hope she gets better soon.

I'd say don't stress about it. She might still ask to use the potty but if she has no interest, leave it until she's feeling better.
