Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I've had a lie in, and am just drinking my first cuppa of the day. The weather forecast was rain this morning but it's quite breezy instead so the washer's on with the girls' uniforms.

I'll go and get the girls up shortly; we're going for a walk into town, to the market for fruit. And for the first time in weeks I don't need to buy new school tights!

There are pots to wash from last night, and a bit of tidying to do, when we get in, and upstairs could do with hoovering.

Later on I want to try and finish painting next week's story props, and make a start transferring an image to the high-tops I want to customise.

Dd2 is revising for end of year tests, and I imagine dd1 will do some revision for the last of her first round of mock GCSE exams.

We're having southern fried chicken for tea, with chips and beans. I'll probably have a glass or two of wine too. And there is nicer than usual ice cream for desert 🍨

The kids are playing with lego at the table while I tidy up from my birthday yesterday. I'm dropping them off at their dads around 11 then need to get home, have a bath and actually put make up on because me and 3 friends are heading to a Thai place for food at cocktails this evening.

Currently keeping a real eye on the weather because the outfit I have planned doesn't really suit having a jacket but I really don't want to get wet 😂

I’m off to the gym in a mo then we are off to a wedding.

We are off to the theatre tonight. Today dh is outgoing up some pictures and a bathroom mirror. Place is starting to take shape.
Roast chicken tray bake for dinner with hopefully enough to last tomorrow so no cooking then 😃

Well I'm jealous of your lie in for a start ha ha. Youngest DS has had me up since 5am watching Duggee.
Oldest had a friend sleeping over so they are still sleeping as I know they were up until at least 1am watching Inbetweeners.

Breakfast and cuppa time here then bath for DS. Washing in, kitchen and downstairs cleaned and then we are going to a woodland indoor play centre near us to break the day up.

Home and will drop off oldests friend at some point. Chicken and Chorizo skewers for tea I think.

Then relax hopefully with a gin for me.
DH is working away so a quiet one for us today.

Couch to 5K with friends shortly then off out for brunch, a lovely day here!

Dog walked, just going into the gym. After that it’s Tesco, shower and probably a bit of brunch then. Quiet day today, tomorrow I’m doing Sunday lunch for the family which will be a bit boozy with lots of games.

Well not long bathed my (10 wk old ) baby after he peed whilst getting dressed, then peed in his face whilst getting dried so had a second dip in the bath 😂

Currently having a cuppa while he's snoozing.

Will be doing a load of washing then have a shower for myself. Tesco delivery coming this afternoon.

Might read a few chapters of a book if baby plays ball then just wait for the husband to finish work so I can hand the baby over 😅

A lazy morning here as well, last night was the first night everyone has slept through since January!

London pride today, so I’ll be at that later with the two smalls and the rest of my rugby club. We’ve been practicing lineout lifts with my son at training this week, so I’ll see if he wants a go when we’re there. Afterwards we’re going out for an early dinner.

Nothing planned tonight, my husband has bought some new shirts, so I might sort those tonight and sew some magnet strips in to get them done and out of the way.

What are you seeing at the theatre?

One child been sent off for a day raft building and racing with sea scouts, one child being sent off for a sleepover with Beavers, and one child proclaiming loudly that he is bored because he is on his own. The same child that spends every waking moment fighting with them when they are here...
I'm still in my PJs and contemplating a shower. Hoping DH is going to take DS out to see the Red Arrows at the local airport. I should spend some time on house stuff but will probably bog off out for a wander and some shopping, the food cupboards are bare.

Half six is a lay in here so technically I did get one today.
Had a quick clean of the house while DD ate breakfast. Now she is playing lego while I feed the baby. She has swimming at half ten and I'll go do the food shop in that time. DN is coming for a play date. Hoping they entertain each other as cricket is on so won't get anything out of DH 🙄

Morning everyone.
Slow morning tea, followed by putting the kitchen to rights as much as I can, with one wall needing to be plastered.
I was going to move the freecycle pile of bricks from the front garden path down to the land, to become a raised bed for some fruit bushes but dog walking DH has reported it's raining, so I will wait a bit. He has more carrots to plant and doesn't mind doing it in the rain.
I have a new St Mary's book to read and I want to finish painting the small Tudor shop I’ve been working on, and then dirty it up, the best bit!
Minted lamb kebabs for dinner, with our own new potatoes and the obligatory massive salad.

Morning @lucysmam , swimming, reading sunbathing, lunch out at a restaurant we've never been to and doesn't appear to have a menu, so that will be interesting 🤔then more swimming and reading

On the road towards York - flipping through mumsnet before I settle down for a nap. I hate driving this route so my other half gave in. Going to help my kid move house - looking forward to seeing if he’s awake when we arrive.

Just landed in UK yesterday, woke up after 12 hours of sleep and of to see Guns and Roses later!

Trying to get through the mountain of washing, considering waking dd1 up but also considering not waking her up.

we were going to go for a walk and a picnic but forecast is for rain. DD1 and I made scones yesterday for the picnic and we made homemade jam using fruit from the garden.

I have lots of boring jobs I could do with getting done including the housework but I have woken wit a head ache and my motivation has gone out the window.

Trying to motivate myself to get out of bed properly. Got dc's breakfasts and emptied dishwasher and showered etc but now I am back in bed. 🙄

Must get up and get fresh air as nice day.

Waiting for sainsburys delivery that was due between 9 and 10 so that I can do a packed lunch for dd who has play rehearsals. Then the little two want to go to the park. Rain forecast this afternoon so probably a film and then steak for tea.

DH has had to go in to work for the whole day, after working the last 3 weekends already (boo uni weekend open days on top of already stupid workloads!), so I'm catching up on housework and trying to make the house as nice as possible, and will need to get some work done too.

What I'm actually doing is watching the Sewing Bee final.

But I have done the dishwasher and put on a bedding wash, so I'm not feeling entirely guilty.

Not too much planned today, DD was up early so I left her have her ipad while I dozed and DS was asleep.
i forgot to put DS pull up back on last night, so need to wash his bedding and get it dried.
had a bath while the kids played tea parties upstairs.
planning on walking to see to my DGM with the kids and go get some milk.
when DH gets home from work at 1.30, we may go for.a walk weather depending.
Then home for tea, a family fave of fish new potatoe and peas, then watch the F1 quali while DH does bedtime.
