Made redundant but interview Wed

Honestly I am fuming, left a job of 10 years service to move to a smaller company. All good loved the new role, some niggles about a few things but generally OK and I could see a future.

3 months in no appointment for my review but my boss is busy so ok. Wednesday full company mtg (remotely) to say sorry the banks have done caveats on our lending and they have reviewed them and we need to make changes. At this point I realise my time is up.

Apologies from the MD personally since really don't make up for the disappointment and anger I have.

However...... and this is why I am posting I was contacted about a job via LinkedIn the day we found out some of us are losing our jobs completely by chance. I have had an initial interview and have another in Wednesday. I need somewhere to discuss this as my poor DH has had every emotion under the sun from me since Wednesday.

So tips and encouragement for the interview on Wednesday works be really nice I could really do with this job!

That does sound quite a week, but so positive you have opportunities already. Honestly maybe this was just meant to be. Good luck.

So quick update - ended up being offered the job but actually also had a former client reach out and offer me a role so have taken that one - now to enjoy the sun until I start at the beginning of August

I am now proper fuming over the company that took me on to then make me redundant after 12 weeks - I will now be a potential client to them - well I won't be will I!!
