So swim nappies work by letting the we out and only collecting the poo can anyone explain to me how period swimwear works?

I don't understand it either, but I wish I didn't know that about swim nappies 🤢

Did you really think they held the wee in??

I've been wondering about this too. They're a great idea though, I just can't work out the mechanics of them.

I have no idea, but my DD (in swim team) has been using them for about a year with no accidents
when we wash them you sort of have to force the discharge out… after swimming, rinse on cold water and if you rub/squeeze the water comes out a bit red… so they do work
have no idea of the science behind it

I'm really interested in this too!

Everyone I've spoken to has said the same! Google isn't helpful! @Blowyourowntrumpet if they held in the wee they would also soak up pool water
