Help can I get away with either of these jackets

Hello,

Packing my bags to go away and I've realised I haven't got a jacket to my dress

Can I get away with either of these, I'm aware they're not the best but want to make sure I don't look ridiculous.

If they don't I'll just hope for good weather

I'd choose the nude jacket out the 2 if I had to pick

April90 · 30/06/2022 14:38

Obvs I don't know the occasion but have you got a denim jacket?

emmathedilemma · 30/06/2022 14:38

the lighter coloured one looks better

I too agree the lighter coloured one, but a denim one would work better

getupstandupsitdown · 30/06/2022 14:45

I don't like either of them, I'm afraid OP. They look a bit too casual with the dress

Motherofmonsters · 30/06/2022 14:58

Thanks everyone, I think I'll take the lighter one and hope for good weather. I really need to get a denim jacket

What about black?

I think the black one is best. But do you have a wrap/shawl that could work instead?

April90 · 30/06/2022 15:14

The black looks good OP!🙂

Floydthebarber · 30/06/2022 15:15

Not the black one, it is a mash up of picnic and office.

April90 · 30/06/2022 15:16

A shawl is very granny like so stick with the black 👌

ifonly4 · 30/06/2022 15:21

I'd go for the black or neutral one. If you're likely to be wearing during nice weather though, I'd chose the neutral one.

Ukholidaylover · 30/06/2022 16:12

Neutral but denim if you have one.

Shitscared123 · 30/06/2022 17:24

Neutral.
the black one looks odd with the dress as it’s too formal.

midsomermurderess · 30/06/2022 17:32

I prefer the first one. The tone works better with the dress. The second one looks like an over-sized shirt. I’d say no to the black.

notprincehamlet · 30/06/2022 17:51

I like the first one

momneedscoffee · 30/06/2022 18:37

I like the khaki one out of all 3. I would say the black is a no go

MegaClutterSlut · 30/06/2022 19:43

I prefer the first one

OnTheRoll · 30/06/2022 22:53

The green one

PickAChew · 30/06/2022 22:56

I prefer the first one. The ruched pockets of the beige one make it look a bit sloppy with that dress.

DelosParks · 30/06/2022 23:12

I also like the first one. The black one doesn't go at all.

caringcarer · 01/07/2022 00:09

Have you got a cardigan OP?

Kite22 · 01/07/2022 00:28

Depends on the occasion / what you are looking to wear it for, but of the 3, the green / khaki one is probably the best, IMO.

Boxjumpers918 · 01/07/2022 07:06

Is this for a particular event?

SweetSakura · 01/07/2022 07:11

The green one is the only one that works
