Just for fun while I endure the same music and message for goodness mows how long.
What’s the longest you’ve been kept hanging on the phone waiting for a real person to answer?
I’m heading for 42 mins at the moment.

Nearly an hour recently - bloody Barclaycard, and the ‘music’ was an appalling din. I’ve often been sick to death of the 4 Seasons, but it would have been far preferable.
IMO it was appalling on purpose, so people would hang up and bugger off.

And I do wish they’d say, ‘Sorry for keeping you waiting,’ instead of, ‘Thank you for you patience.’ What patience?? 🤬

You must have the patience of a saint, I would have given up after 10 mins.

@vodkaredbullgirl if it hadn’t been quite important, i probably would have given up then as well!
55 mins in the end for a call that lasted just over a minute! 😫
