Best days to WFH

I've been told that I can WFH two days a week, just need to pick which days. I work a 8 1/2 day fortnight with alternate Fridays off, and half day on the other Friday, so the choice in any two days out of Mon-Thurs. So any advantages to Mon and Weds WFH, or Tues and Thurs? Any advice appreciated!

Can you not wfh Monday and Tuesday?

Can you not do two days in a row.
I’d rather do Monday Tuesday.

straight from the weekend, don’t have to get prepped for work on a Sunday, can sort the house a bit in my lunch or whatever. And at least Monday isn’t made worse with a commute
and you can relax into it knowing Tuesday is the same
by the time you get to Wednesday it’s a nice routine to go in two days, rather than the stop start of spreading the days out. It breaks the week up and you know you’re at least off / half day on Friday.

Do you have DC and do the often have inset days on a particular day?
Which days are most other people in the office?
Which days have the worst commute?
I think two consecutive days would be easier to organise practically, laptop papers etc in one place.

Mon and Tues. benefit from the weekend.
Get all your work days done in a row

I prefer doing 2 days in a row then I don't have to pack everything away and get it all back out again. I usually do Thursday & Friday at home because I have an evening activity on thursday which is closer to home than the office and then I just leave my computer and everything out for Friday. Also, i tend to get home quite late on a Thursday so it means I can have a cheeky lie-in on Friday!

Is there anything to do with your commute that would make some days better than others? For example Mondays are quieter on trains so it might be nicer travelling on that day compared to busier days.

No childcare issues, son is at uni. My commute is the same every day, a short drive. I only need to carry my laptop, no other paperwork. I'm leaning towards Monday WFH, just need to decide on the other day! We currently have a team meeting on Tuesday which might be better to attend in person, but that might change. Friday is already sorted, I only do half a Friday every other week.

People mostly in office Mon-Thurs, Fridays are quiet as only half staff in.

I love working Monday and Friday because:

1: I feel it starts my week off properly
2: Travel is quiet on these days
3: I get more of a Friday feeling leaving the office and enjoying the weekend, helps me to put a line under my work week
