Birthday party invites

When do you send out DC's party invites? Primary school child with party in the middle of summer hols- limited on numbers so if any of the invited friends can't come, further invites can be issues.

School breaks up 22nd july- would it be too early to send invites out now to give time for further invites? Or would it be too early and everyone will forget to attend?

I'd do it now if you've got everything booked.

I would send now, people who have holiday booked should let you know straight away, so you can get an idea on numbers and make back up plans.
Also, how will you deliver them when the school is closed?

And those not going away can put that time in the diary before planning something else. You can create whatsup group and remind everyome a week before

I would give it until this time next week

A month before the party seems to be the norm at my son's school.

Don't give them out the last week of term, some kids will be taken out of school early to go on holiday so won't get their invite or the invite will just sit in the school bag until a few days before the kids go back in September!

Similar query, my sons birthday is 1st week of term in September - probably won't see many school friends during the holidays. Was thinking to send a save the date whatsapp message before we break to mid July ? when would you send invitation to ask for rsvps? I guess would have to be a whatsapp invitation too ?
