I got a new job!

I’ve just found out that I’ve got a new job! I’m so excited and had to share my news with someone.

After 15 years of working in the same company, I’m finally embarking on a new adventure.

My confidence levels have been at zero for a long time due to the stressful and very negative work environment / boss and I never thought I’d be able to pass an interview process and actually land myself a job, but it’s happened!

I just wanted to post to give people hope that if they feel as rubbish as I do about my capabilities and have extreme anxiety about interviews then if I can do it, you can too. 😀

I left a job after a similar amount of time for the same reason. Life changing.

wishing you lots of happiness in your new role op. Smile

I have felt the same. I knew I just had to escape before my mental health disintegrated any further. It’s taken me years to get to this point. Go for it!

Congratulations!!

I once stayed in the same company for 14 years. After I was made redundant, my confidence on getting a new job was rather low but it actually happened very quickly. After that, I decided to change jobs every 3 years. I'm just about to change again, and I've received a very large pay rise as well. I think changing regularly is good for your skills, mental health and finances.

Well done and enjoy the change!!
