As someone living on the West Coast of the USA, this is harsh but not wrong on many points. When it comes to demographics Democrats assumed new immigrants would vote for them. But Hispanics and many other immigrants from Asia and Africa are social conservatives and are starting to reveal their conservatism at the polling booth by voting Republican.
