Will a Citroen C3 Picasso fit 3 kids in the back?

Good wenches of mumsnet, as the title says really.

Need a new car and cant really afford a 7 seater. Friend has a c3 Picasso and can just about fit seats in back using seatbelt. Aha! Thought we'd found an answer but all the manufacturers seem to say their seat cant go in the back middle seat.

Kids are 13 months, 3 and 5.

No, sorry! I have one and there just isn't room between the car seats each side for one in the middle (or even anyone to actually sit there) 🙁 I'm looking to change to a 7 seater too but they are so expensive 👎🏼

Although I have seen these bench seats before, it might be worth checking the measurements 👍🏼

I think 5 seater Renault Scenics have 3 full-width seats in the back - I don't know of any others off the top of my head, but a friend recently got a hatchback Scenic for that reason!

Thanks the recommendation.

I get the sense that people somehow stick the seats in the back even if not recommended...

The multimac seems a wondrous invention but DS not keen on spending the money.

Will check out the scenic though.

Yeah you definitely won't get 3 carseats across the back, I've had 2 carseats in the back and can barely fit my SIL in between them who is a very petite 5' size 8. It's a great little car otherwise, the storage is second to none and the head height for kids is fantastic because they can walk across the back if you've parked at the side of the road.
