Incredibly forgetful - worried

Examples of things I’ve forgotten in the last few days:

  • forgot to take ID to a solicitors meeting and had to cancel
  • forgot I had arranged to collect something via FBmarketplace
  • forgot to pay for parking then forgot about the ticket until I found it a week later
  • generally can’t remember what I did at the weekend immediately if someone asks me
And so so many more. It’s really really knocking my confidence. I’m wondering if so need to see a doctor? I’m 34 with a baby and a 3yo - is this just ‘mum brain’ or something more sinister? Due to go back to work in a few months and just feeling like how the hell will I manage?!

I am not sure that any of that is something that I would be worried about. It sounds a bit disorganised than anything else. Set up a diary in your phone and list everything. Appointment and what you need to bring, date ticket needs to be paid, to where and by what date. Look at your diary first thing in the morning, lunchtime and evening.

The weekend thing I am a bit like this if I have done nothing out of the normal.

When you have a baby you can quite often find you're low in a lot of things after pregnancy like B12, which can make you forgetful. Speak to the GP, this could be easily sorted.
