I burnt myself just above the chest with an oven tray 4 days ago.

The burn is still very sore and cracked and I'm unsure if it's healing properly or infected.

Surgery suggested Minor Injuries but as hwve a young baby with mr and wait will be long I was wondering if anyone had any idea if this looked normal or not.

Picture will be posted below.

I'd put a big dollop of flaminal hydro or flaminal forte on it and cover with a dressing but I am averse to going to the hospital if I can help it. It doesn't look infected to me but burns can be slow to heal.

Flaminal forte is available from Amazon or your practice nurse can prescribe it if it is easier to access them. www.amazon.co.uk/FLAMINAL-Forte-ALGINATE-Gel-15g/dp/B07JH1FT6Y/

My DH got chemical burns on his arm because he's an idiot that doesn't listen to me and we healed them with flaminal, dressings and silicon inserts to soak up the extrude.

That looks normal to me, though clearly sore. It should start to feel better in a day or two.

That looks absolutely fine. I've healed worse than that at home, very clumsy here, with hemp oil, and keeping it clean in the bath. That looks healed.

Thank you guys.

Yup notoriously clumsy here unfortunately. :)

I sloshed some boiling water on my boob last month and burned through the top layer of skin. Once that had gone I did lots of Sudocrem (zinc oxide) twice a day with a gauze covering.
The skin healed in 10 days but the coloring is still dark.
