Thinking of taking a family of 6 to florida - what do I need to know?

Really I don't have a clue where to start. The kids have requested a Disney holiday - DDs will be 10, 7, 5 and the baby 6mo.

There seems to be Disney and Universal, which is best for these ages? or both?

Also accommodation, maybe a villa because there are so many of us? Any tips and pointers appreciated!

Many thanks (posting in chat in the hope of traffic) :)

I'll say it before anyone else does, avoid if you are pregnant and have any history of gynaecological issues.

I would go Disney for those ages. Its a long time since I went, but plan, plan and then do some planning. Literally half day at a time. You need to factor in some rest and down time. The days are long and very tiring. If you can afford to stay on site you will gain a lot of perks eg early access etc but it does cost. The water parks were huge fun.

Most of the world has poor access to healthcare and little to no reproductive rights - if I took that line I'd never go anywhere.

Ah thank you. I'll look more into the Disney side then. Are there self catering villas on site or all
Hotels?

I'm wincing just thinking about the cost 😳

Accept that you can’t do it “cheap”, it’s an expensive holiday by nature - we’re planning a trip probably in 2024 and I keep having to breathe into a paper bag!
