Where actual dancing takes place?

I've been to places like Ronnie Scott's and found them rigid and soulless. I'm really searching for more of a dance-type club with live music where people are actually out on the floor having an amazing time and really getting into it.

Any suggestions?

You could try The Jazz Cafe, near Camden station. Always had great nights there.

Boisdales are meant to have good live music and dj nights - not been, but its on my list.

Have you done upstairs at Ronnie’s? Can’t remember what nights but they definitely have dancing!
