Insulated coffee cups (sorry its boring!)

Our local coffee shop is closing for a month at the end of next week. Its always my stopping off point after a walk. Been looking on Amazon for an insulated cup so I can take my own with me. There are so many that I don't know where to start. I love a really hot coffee and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for one that will stay hot for about three hours or so, easy to take the lid off and drink from the cup if poss.

Cantagian are the best I've used. Stay hot for hours and never leak.

Contigo auto seal cups. Keeps your coffee hot for hours and no spills.

Yeti are brilliant

I've got a Chilly's one. Keeps drinks hot for hours but it's not leakproof. I use it all the time at work.

Contigo are super although keep drinks too hot sometimes

I've got a cactus one. I love it because I can drink from it in the car as it isn't too tall. Alll the others I had obscured my view once the drink got down to the bottom of the cup!

Contigo is brilliant, leakproof to the extent you can chuck it in your handbag

Another vote for Chillys - hefty price tag but worth it if you're feeling flush.

Thermos stainless steel are the best, but for what you want any will do.

We've had some luck with cheapy unbranded ones from amazon but the catch eventually died. Built flasks are easiest to clean (black screw top not white, whites are impossible to open no idea why there is the difference) and have no bits to go missing, but you need two hands to open. Thermos stay hot (or cold) the longest (way longer than you need) and tend to be more streamlined. My last two contigo were uniformly rubbish.

I prefer hot drinks tepid, so I make lemon and hot water at night with boiling water & it's still warm to lukewarm the next morning.

I second YETI. It's the only one I have. Never had it leak and drinks stay very hot.

Contigo are brilliant but don't dishwasher them too much.

Another vote for cotingo. They are brilliantly leakproof even upside down in your bag. And they keep everything very hot (best add cold if you want ro drink it within a few hours).

The only time my contigo has ever leaked was when a lemon pip got stuck in the opening. Took me a while to work out that's what it was and another while to pick it out.

It's such a luxury that o continue to squeeze fresh lemons and just check each time I close the seal by turning them up side down.

I happen to love the colours they come in too. 😀

I first saw people raving about them here & told DH who was working in Calif. at the time, where they are often for sale in supermarkets for a few dollars.

I like the bright blue one he brought home so much, that I looked to get more. Imagine my surprise when I saw the full price. But they come in a great range of colours.

Another vote for Contigo!! But if you want to drink from it within a couple of hours of making it, add some cold water as they are almost too good!
