Sausagis · 26/06/2022 16:42

Amazon prime entitles you to Subscribe and Save - I get cat food, loo roll, shampoo, hand wash, persil, all sorts with extra discount.

greenmoney · 26/06/2022 16:42

sohosoho · 26/06/2022 16:36

I get them is Asda 😄

And I get them from Morrisons

letsplanaholiday · 26/06/2022 16:44

I subscribe to burts bees lip balm sticks. I have 3 delivered every other month costs about £4. They're almost that price each in the shops so a bargain! I have them in every hand bag and even DH carries one... they're very good!

Thepowerofthelook · 26/06/2022 16:47

Typhoo tea bags price fluctuates but buy the bag of 1100 when they work out at 1p each.

The TV.

Can get some good deals on toys I bought my niece an orchard maths game reduced from £12.99 to £5. Also had some good half price deals on playmobil and lego sets. Which I often buy and save for Christmas /birthday presents.

Occasionally some good electrical deals just bought ds a Philips electric shaver less than half price.

If you have something regular keep it in your basket and buy it when it tells you they've reduced the price.

whatsthestory123 · 26/06/2022 16:55

thanks all this will keep me busy😁

Subscribe and save is your friend!!! Bulk items such as toiletries all the time.
Amazon basics clothes if your after a cheap hoody or something simular

midsomermurderess · 26/06/2022 17:30

But I can’t get them where I live. That’s why I use Prime.

WishILivedInThrushGreen · 26/06/2022 17:44

Dog food

theskyispurple · 26/06/2022 17:56

Loo roll, kitchen roll, coffee, fabric conditioner , dishwasher tablets lol on subscribe and save.
I use the prime video app on my iPad in the kitchen while I'm cooking.
The food shopping is great if you want groceries quickly and you can't get out.

idontevenknowanyonecalledblurb · 26/06/2022 17:59

If you use Facebook there's groups that tell you deals- playpennies and others. Also if you want to track an item you can use camelcamelcamel to check its cheapest price. I have bought so much stuff from seeing deals!

Nidan2Sandan · 26/06/2022 18:00

Laundry pods, dishwasher tablets, make up.

Mostly it's worth it just for quick delivery

Ourlady · 26/06/2022 18:19

Bargain hunter Uk fb group has loads of offers on every day but you have to be quick with most of them. Also free Amazon music.

HRHBreathMints · 26/06/2022 18:21

I always order subscribe and save to get the cheaper price if there is an offer then you can cancel it in a few clicks straight away

Lakeowlmoon · 26/06/2022 18:27

The quicker delivery is the main thing - as to what is good on Amazon, well that's not really answerable!

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 26/06/2022 18:31

Prime books and magazines to add to all of he above.

Catslovepies · 26/06/2022 18:33

Amazon has a huge problem with counterfeit goods. I have received several and I will never again buy any food or beauty products on there for this reason. There are a lot of articles about this you can read- here's one example that's US-focused but explains the issues pretty well - there are others that specifically mention the UK supply chain also if you google www.fastcompany.com/90636859/the-volume-of-the-problem-is-astonishing-amazons-battle-against-fakes-may-be-too-little-too-late

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/06/2022 19:18

I often buy the biscuit tea in Sainsbury's, Asda or Morrisons. The jam on toast one is even better IMO.

I used to sign up and pay in one go for Amazon Prime which saves £20 or so a year, but these days just get it every few months when I know I need to order things or want next day delivery; eg when we moved house or in the run up to Xmas.

You get access to Prime Video which I use a lot, Prime reading, Prime Gaming ( good for teens) and unlimited photo storage.

I don't think I'd say that Amazon has any particular bargains, since the prices fluctuate so often but things bought in bulk or using subscribe and save will always be slightly cheaper. Slightly niche but I do find hardback books are always a lot cheaper on Amazon but do try to use independent local bookshops if I'm financially able to that month.
