Haven’t done one of these threads for a while. Had a really hectic week so trying to kick back a bit today. I’m starving so going to make cheese on toast in a mo. DH cleaning out the rabbits & cursing our littlest, who hid in the garage & refused to come out! The door at the back which leads to the garden really needs to be replaced. I dropped DD13 at a friend’s earlier. There’s quite a bit to do in the house but I probably won’t do it, although I must at least clean the loo. Defrosting sweet chilli salmon fillets for tea which we’ll have with Jersey Royals, broccoli & fine beans. DH & I might watch a film tonight or some more episodes of Greys Anatomy. Still only on series 3!

I’m laying on the bed after a shower with my hair in a towel listening to a book. Must get up and get on!

Woke up after a boozy night last night feeling surprisingly not hungover.
Went to my friends who made me breakfast, chatted for a while then we drove out for a lovely beach walk.

She dropped me off and DD has just arrived back from her dads. Salad for dinner, an hour in the garden in my new hanging egg chair reading my book, then an early night for me I think!

I'm just about to get a shower, once the slow cooker cookie timer goes off.

I've just painted dd2's nails & she's waiting for pudding (the cookie & ice cream).

When I've had my shower, dd1 is coming down to continue Kitchenbury with Lorde's set. I have my festival sunglasses at the ready (green lenses 🤣) and she has her bucket hat. There will be cups of tea, and much dancing round the kitchen.

After that; half hour sit down before bed ready for work tomorrow <yawn>

Everyone reading. But likely to play a boardgame later.

I’ve just cleaned the kitchen. The toddler is brushing his teeth enthusiastically in the bath. I’m going to get him ready for and into bed, sort out the rest of downstairs and then sit and read a book in bed for a bit before an early-ish night.

A nice, quiet Sunday night here.

Currently upstairs trying to put a brave face on for toddler while DH packs for military deployment tomorrow. We are going to miss him so very much

Just home from a very windy beach day at Southport with the 9 year old and my neice . I've unpacked had a bath and now I'm lounging on the bed while my youngest has a bath.

My OH has fitted the wooden floor this weekend and is now out walking the dog.

The 3 teens are cocooned in their rooms, eldest starts summer job tomorrow; next eldest is waiting to hear on a promotion in her retail job and the youngest teen has finally finished his GCSEs so I imagine his day tomorrow will consist of sleep and food and not much else.

I’m drinking red wine and watching the kid from Brooklyn with Danny Kaye. The best Sunday ever! (And I’m only 34!)

I'm lying on the sofa in my pjs just about to start watching the secret on Netflix. Waiting for dh to join me but he's disappeared into his shed for some reason. Ds1 is playing on his PlayStation upstairs and ds2 is just about to be told it's bedtime. I might make a brew and get the rest of my Galaxy out of the fridge whilst I wait.

I also have covid so have been doing some outdoor isolation. We packed up the car this morning with the inflatable canoe and went to a local lake where DH paddled me and DS around. I managed a short swim in the lake and then slept under a tree while DH and DS swam some more. DS is now in bed, while DH sit on the balcony watching the local cows, listening to the Summer Chill Road Story play list (on Apple Music) and having a glass of wine.
