I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day, listening to the wind in the big sycamore at the bottom of my garden. No-one else is up yet, but I have heard dd2 moving about.
I have quite a bit I need to do today, so have already made a start on the outlines of this coming weeks' story props for work, and am about to make a coffee before I put some thread in the back of dd2's tights so we know they're hers.
I need to paint the other 4 characters, iron, find a recipe for energy snacks for Tuesday's guide meeting and shop for it. There's also some other prep I need to do for Tuesday & I need to think about finishing off my accounts for the year.
Dd2 needs help with maths homework, and dd1 is in the middle of her first round of GCSE mocks so will likely have mind maps for me to ask questions from.
We are planning to continue Kitchenbury later on though 🤣 I have my festival glasses ready (green lenses) and dd1 her bucket hat. Dd2 is less than impressed with our choices of artists to watch so far but sang along to Olivia Rodrigo last night.
This evening we're having pork for tea, followed by a giant cookie and ice cream. Dd2 wants to make the cookie.
After all that, I may get out my crochet for a while, or I may just slump in front of the food channel on tv 🤷♀️
