I’m on my own. Will this be doable/worth it? Or pointless…

eithrr one big trip to US or a bit of travelling around Europe

Depends on the baby I think, mine is very placid and happy to go along with things so I am happy to travel with him. I love having little adventures with him. Takes a lot of organisation and planning yes but totally worth it.

Definitely depends on the child. Is the baby born yet? My dd spent most of her life screaming until about 10 months, I struggled with a trip to the supermarket. I remember my pregnant friend saying her and her DH were going to go to India when the baby was about 6 months old. Didn't happen. I do think some babies would be absolutely fine though. If you co-sleep and breastfeed, you wouldn't need humongous amounts of stuff.

Depends on a lot of things.

Temperament of the baby
Your confidence levels
How "light" you can pack and live

I mean not at all the same as travelling far away but I did a 4 hour journey every month with my son from being about 7 weeks old to one and I was always nervous but I got more confident over time though I had a super super chilled out baby.

definitely I wouldn’t have made any big plans before I ‘knew’ my baby! I don’t breastfeed either so that can be a slight pain in the arse with packing formula/bottles etc I guess but we manage fine.
