What are your plans for this Sunday? I gather it’s going to be rather windy across the UK today…!

I am currently enjoying a cup of coffee, after which I hope to do a quick morning yoga and then DH and I will pick the DC up from my lovely sister, who had them for a sleepover last night. Thereafter, the day is looking pretty empty, so will be looking to take inspiration from other peoples’ exciting plans!

We will be decorating, as we've had an extension built and the builders have just finished.

Still rolling around in bed, it's a rest day from my training schedule. Have a nice hearty breakfast and watch a little trash telly. Nephews birthday, so will be taking him to watch the new Buzzlightyear movie at the cinemas. Eat some good food ☺️

young-teen DS has a competitive race... at a pub. I'm looking forward to a pint in the sun while he runs hard

older teen DS may come out for a 2-3 hour country walk yesterday, with promise of ice cream

In middle of a very very busy weekend, volunteering, DS sport fixture, volunteering, recycling run, shopping for DS equipment, DS sport fixture, cook brownies?, walk with big DS, cook tea, volunteering, holiday planning, volunteering, volunteering & fund-raising, volunteering ...

Going to Heathrow to fly back to Belfast, me and DH came over in Friday to see The Stones in Hyde Park yesterday. Atm I'm still in bed so I need to shift it soon.

Thanks OpenDoor Hope the paper goes well.

DH has just gone out on his bike to Delamere Forest. Toddler DD and I will drive to join him there in a couple of hours to see the Gruffalo statues.

I'm in the grip of morning sickness so will probably stop off at McDonald's for a cheese and egg McMuffin if breakfast is still on.

Cafe near the forest for lunch, then home to do chores and get ready for the week!

Sitting in bed drinking coffee and thinking I should go to church but my teens will not go and cant be left home alone due to SN and MH issues so another week where I havent been. I think i have been four times since January. As I have to wait until they see their dad on a Sunday. And he keeps pulling out of weekend contact.

Later we will get out for fresh air and a walk as we have no garden and my eldest teen gets very hyper if in all day and will charge around the flat mimicking an animal of choice of the day for two hours later if we do not go. Eg will become a sheep, crawling on hands and knees and bleat. Or run round bleating loudly for two hours. Downstairs flat will knock on the ceiling. I find this stressful.

I'm isolating as having surgery on Tuesday.

I'm afraid there no inspiration here for you!

I will be batch cooking and doing a mini spring clean as I'll be very tired and sore a few days when I get home on Wednesday!

We had a lie in until 9am today which was a suprise with 2yo :) currently I'm having coffee whilst toddler eats breakfast.. today demanded to eat cherries so cherries and yoghurt it is! DH will be staying with him today whilst I go see some friends for lunch. He's told me to take my time so maybe some sale shopping after...I might pop over and see my parents too. I made a fish pie yesterday so no need to cook tonight. Happy days.

I'm currently visiting my home town, been incredibly windy since we got here. Going to church now with my dad and ds to please my dad, then maybe a nice walk around one part of town this afternoon. Probably go to the beach later, maybe a swim in the sea which is surprisingly warm (and the wind does a good job of blowing you dry when you come out Grin). Looks like rain though so plans might change.

A mumsnet friend is visiting here too so will get together with her as well at some point.

Waiting for DD to leave for Oxford UNIQ summer school at eleven and hoping to wave her off without a hitch - hoping trains will be running on time. (Proud single mum moment)

And then (I hope) four days to myself which I am hoping to make the most of.

Get my exercise regime back on track
Go to cinema with cineworld card
Do absolute minimum of housework

Find myself again after a very stressful year - in which my mum died - and be on the other end of the phone in case I'm needed. (single parent)

Putty, paint, filler, followed by homemade fish and chips.

ifonly4 · 26/06/2022 10:21

Working. It was windy when I left at 7am, and rain here. Almost glad I'm working.
