Unsure of wording on child’s passport application

Hi, hoping someone has already done this before. I’m applying online for my daughters passport. We weren’t married before she was born, but have got her re-registered since so her birth certificate reflects that we are married now.

The form states “were you married?” That’s it. No were you married at the time of birth, just were you married. I have tried pressing yes and then when it asks for the date of marriage putting 2017 (dd born in 2014) to see if that flagged up anything - it doesn’t. I’ve tried putting no, and it doesn’t give me a further option to ask if we’ve married since… So I’m a bit stuck!!

Anybody else been in the same position and has an idea what to go with?

Thanks

I think it means were you married at the time of her birth so I’d put no. 🤷‍♀️

otherwise it would say “are you married”

And I wasn’t married when Dd was born but married shortly after. So I must have answered this question when doing her passport and while I don’t remember answering it that’s what I’d have put.

That’s a good enough reason as any! Thanks 😊
