Has anyone got a Honda Jazz?

My lovely DF has just got a newer Jazz (13 reg) to replace his even older one, and he is panicking because there is a red light flashing on the dashboard.

I've been over to check and it seems from the manual that this is just to show that the alarm is set, (it is even called the security system indicator!) but he has had it for 10 days and insists it has only just appeared.

if you have a Jazz of this age please can you tell me, does a red light flash when it is locked?

I haven't got a Jazz but a quick Google confirms it means the security is active

I don’t get that, but the bloody tyre pressure indicator (orange warning light) comes on ALL the time! Honda garage man says it’s an over sensitive PITA and v common in the Jazz.
Too many bells and whistles!

Yes - I also thought there was a problem! In a right panic about it. Normal. Love my Jazz

They are brilliant little cars. MIL had one and managed to have a collision with a 10 ton truck from the local quarry and walked away from it.

She was pretty bruised and the car was a write off, but we were impressed!
