Can anyone from Cardiff help me? (boring question about best place to pick someone up)

I'm driving along the M4 coming from Swansea direction, & need to pick up a friend but don't want to go into the city. Is there a railway station that's easy to get to from the motorway? (she can get a train from Queen st or central station) It'll be a Friday lunchtime so imagine traffic could be busy.

Picking up from Central on a Friday lunchtime won't be busy, ime. I always go in via the A2432 and up dumballs road from the Bay.

She could go out to Leckwith or maybe Coryton?

Depends where you’re going on to so might be a bit further on than you want but a friend recently picked me up at Newport - was really easy from the M4 and plenty of pick up/drop off parking.

Thanks both, I'll check in what is easy for her. Thinking back, I've caught a train in Llandaf before & parked there, that was pretty good from M4 too. Coryton likely to be easier though?

We're going to England so Newport is another option, or Pye Corner someone suggested.

Taffswell is only 10- 15 min on train and a few minutes of the m4...
