DH and his mates wanted to see a concert. One mate, ex serviceman said I can buy them through help for heroes. They all hand over 90 quid. Tickets never appeared.
Mate gone silent and had 900 quid off his mates for tickets.
Can ex servicemen buy concert tickets cheaper? I feel so cross he thinks he can get away with this.

It doesn't really matter if they can or they can't if he didn't does it? (That sentence probably needs some punctuation somewhere) Fact is he took the money and didn't buy the tickets. Is he completely uncontactable?

Tickets for Troops is a thing, yes. No idea if it applies to veterans, though, I always thought it was for those currently serving.

Regardless of whether or not it's feasible that he could have got cheap tickets, the fact that he's had £900 and then gone completely silent on you all and no tickets have appeared would make me extremely suspicious. When is the concert and how long has he been off radar for?
