Help! Quick decision - should I go for integrated fridge freezer or standalone

Im doing the kitchen up and had the plans to include an integrated fridge freezer. I went yesterday to buy one and was shocked as to how small they were!

Will I regret it? Should I go for freestanding?!

Depends on the aesthetics you want, but integrated are m very small.
We gave integrated in our kitchen, but also have freestanding fridge/freezer

Integrated - because the size is standardised. You may struggle to replace a free standing one in the space available. This happened my aunt recently.

Standalone. The integrated are so small! Also, we had to replace ours and it was a pain as it had to match the door split, and options were limited.
There are only two of us here and we still use our American style fridge freezer as extra storage in the shed....especially around Christmas etc.

Internal size is not the same, integrated is smaller as you have discovered OP.
Depends whether style or substance is more important to you...
I would go for free standing - capacity is priority for me

Stand alone. Much bigger. Just make sure kitchen is built to take a size that is very common.

Bigger, cheaper, easier to replace.

Integrated is too small- unless you have space for full height integrated fridge and separate integrated freezer side by side?

Integrated came with the house. That’s why we have an additional fridge and freezer in the garage. We’d have width room for a stand alone, but it would stick out in front of the units.

Integrated don't last as long as well as being smaller internally.

I took out my integrated and fitted drawer units through the full height cupboard. Free standing in the corner. Revolutionised my kitchen.

It would be a wall of cupboards and units and the hob and then at the end squeeze in a freestanding. It would def ruin the aesthetic.

I need to make a decision by the end of this weekend!

Really wish I could go for a integrated full height fridge and a separate full height freezer.
