I guess it would look lovely as she was blonde when younger and she now had dark blonde / light brown hair so very good base colour

my only concern is the cost

what would be the lowest main time of way of doing this ?
if I did consider it ?

Does she have a part-time job and if not, could she get one?

PenguinLove1 · 24/06/2022 18:33

If she got balayage then it doesn't normally colour the root which would mean she wouldn't get the regrowth, i think that would last much longer than regular highlights which would need done regularly to avoid the dark root showing

I don’t think she could cope with a part time job atm
as she’s getting help for anxiety

My DD started with Balayage but then got bolder and blonder until she’s now platinum and it costs a lot every few months.
If she will stick at that great but if not prepare to fork out ££££££

LovelyYellowLabrador · 24/06/2022 18:34

Penguin balayage sounds a lot better than highlights then

Thinking it might be best to wait til
shes older and can pay herself

as I’m worried yes do it once and it will look lovely then it’s the maintenance

im
not sure I’d try n do it myslef

she’s also siad she would like to have pink bits of she can’t go blonde
so maybe I’d give that a go ! And try n diy it for her

it would need to deffo wash out tho
before September

Just be aware that no respectable hairdresser will touch an under 16 year old's hair with dyes as their insurance won't cover them.
