What's with all the coconut? I'm not a fussy eater, there are very few things I don't like but cocnutnis one of them, especially dessicated coconut.

It was my birthday this week . I'm of an age where I don't want/expect a main present (there's no one to get it for me anyway) but a few people will get a token gift, which is lovely.

Among my half dozen beautifully presented gifts are:

• Coconut macaroons
• M&S coconut perfume
• Hotel Chocolate coconut truffles

I don't think it's going to be my year 😆

I like coconut, but I really dislike a lot of the things made from it. In particular, dairy free yoghurt and desserts are often coconut based. So claggy!

Sounds like me the year gin was all the rage. Everyone heading out for gin fairs and crawls and the darned stuff makes me cry. The final straw was going in to Hotel Chocolat only to be offered a gin truffle .

Mind youI like coconut.

One of my lovely friends got me a car air freshener for my birthday, fragrance “out of fucks to give”. I was somewhat surprised to find that this is in fact coconut. Synthetic coconut at that.

Car stinks, and I am fairly sure that it is going to be everlasting 🤣
