Snowflake Mountain New TV show on Netflix

Has anyone started watching this?? Its hilarious. 10 spoilt and lazy Zoomers (8 Americans, 2 Brits) who obviously signed up for a Reality TV show imagining a villa and a pool, are driven out to the wilderness and told its a survival show. Given a pair of hiking boots and a small waterproof backpack to pack "essentials" from their luggage.
They hike to their new very basic camp and then watch their suitcases with the rest of their belongings blown up.

Highly entertaining 😄

Watched one episode and had enough. Lots of entitled behaviour

MassiveSalad22 · 24/06/2022 03:21

Couldn’t get past the first 15 mins, so much shrieking and so much scriptedness

Ravenclawdropout · 24/06/2022 07:36

It actually gets much better, by the third episode some of the campers are really surprising us. I guess its like all these shows in that at the beginning noone knows each other and they are thrown together but as they start to adjust the dynamics change.
I like the kick ass female survivalist who walks out of the woods with her knife 😄

we should put it on the curriculum in British schools!

I was initially excited by this but couldn't go on watching it as it is so blatantly scripted and fake.
Real people just don't talk or act like that, it's all so unnatural.
I know they're not all teenagers but several of them had a stage school kid vibe.

Compare with Brat Camp for example, from a good few years back. It was so good!

Agree.
Plus, I was expecting them to have to have to build their own shelter, find water and proper Bear Gryls type stuff.

Plus all the gurning, tongue out and two fingers nonsense Devon does in the slo-mo bits in between scenes is ver ver annoying.

Seems odd it's set in the UK (Lake District I think?) yet so Americanised.

I seem fond of the word Plus above. Apologies Grin
