Does everyone get emotional/ eyes well up when you think of great memories?

My life has panned out ok. I mean, I was diagnosed with cancer at 21 but thankfully overcame it. I now have a beautiful family and am generally happy.

I'm taking my dc on the train today and my eyes welled up at the train station as it took me back to when I was a little girl. It completely caught me off guard as I haven't been to the station in years and it's all been revamped but there's bits of it that are still v familiar.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Nope, I can't say that it does.

More that sad memories do this to me.
Happy memories do catch me off guard but usually make me smile.

This question really has me wondering about the Sistine Chapel screamer though 😁

Yep I do!! , massively. I can’t bloody listen to songs that remind me of being a little girl and my mum cleaning the house or songs my dad would put on in the car on family days out without balling my eyes out. Nostalgia is powerful and I struggle to deal with it myself. My partner says just be glad you have the memories in the first place 🥰
