Why aren't people truthful? Britains Got Talent.

There's a local FB group and a lady often posts herself singing. She gets a lot of support but a lot of 'nasty' comments too.

She really can't sing.

She recently posted that she's got an audition for BGT. Everyone's congratulating her.

She's obviously one of the people that are on in the beginning that are there for everyone to laugh at :( It's horrible.

She's said she's going to do some busking to prepare and this, again, is met by lots of affirmative support. "You have a great voice, love" type stuff

It's obviously something she enjoys doing and no one should be stopped for doing something they live, but shouldn't her family say something. She really, really cannot sing and shes going to be laughed at.

It's just so sad. Why are ITV still doing this to people?

They’ve been doing it for years and they’ll be next for getting an arse kicking.

Most of the auditions aren’t shown and people are said to wait until stupid o’clock before they get a chance to perform. Often enough it isn’t the judges we see on the TV, there are pre auditions. it’s a nasty game

It really is nasty. So many people seem to have MH issues too.

They'll have loads of people pre-selected from applications. Almost all of them will audition in front of the production team first, who will then pick a smallish bunch to go forward the auditions 'proper'. Some good, some with sob stories, some truly awful. The ones who will make good telly anyway.

Cowell et al are not going to waste their (expensive) time ploughing through the whole lot.
