Time to move on from eufy vacuum

It's been good, but having watched my little eufy struggling to navigate its way around a patch of sunlight this morning, I've decided it's time to put it out to pasture and upgrade to a slightly more clever robot vacuum.
does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like one that self-empties and that can recognise that sunlight isn't an obstacle. 😣

Bumping this for you, I'm interested too.

I can't recommend my neato highly enough.
We started with a basic model about 6 years ago which was brilliant, we only upgraded after my son helpfully decided neato was dirty and needed a bath.
Our upgraded model will email you with its cleaning map, allow you to digitally create no go zone's and drive it like a remote control car from your phone.

Both models we have had have been brilliant with dog hair, hard flooring and carpet.

We have an iRobot. Had it 6 years so,far and never had any issues with it to date.

Ah that sounds the kind of thing I need! It'd be great to be able to tell it to avoid the cat food bowls all the time. What model do you have?

I think its the d7, if you go onto neato robotics website they have a quiz to match you with a model number.
