Inspirational women name Sea…. HELP!

[ProbablyLate]

I visited a school with houses named after inspirational women. There was one I hadn’t heard of and wanted to look up but I can’t remember her name! The surname definitely began Sea……. but Google has failed me so I have turned to mumsnet!

The other houses were from different time periods and a range of roles so I don’t know if we’re thinking contemporary or historic.

Thanks!

Seacombe?

Mary Seacole? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Seacole

Agh, bloody auto correct. That was supposed to say Seacole. As in, Mary Seacole.

Seacole?

I'm guessing it's Mary Seacole?

Yep. Mary Seacole.

Mary Seacole? Dd has a house named after her too

Amazing! I knew you lot would be better than Google!

I got stuck mentally on Seacombe and was so disappointed when I got home and that was a place rather than an inspirational woman!

I do now remember thinking Sea then Cole…like Brendan Cole!
