Job interview - 28 degrees, PMT, Perimenopause…HELP!

I’ve got a BIG interview tomorrow for a job that’s a step up for me.

it’s going to be hot weather in London, my period is due tomorrow (thanks, Universe!) and I have started to struggle a bit with premenopausal brain fog and a bit of anxiety.

Any tips or soothing words on any of this? I’m feeling really overwhelmed and a bit fearful today. I don’t want to end up a stuttering, tomato-faced sweaty mess. Help!

I live in London and it's actually a little cooler tomorrow. Plus there's a breeze so it's not honestly that hot and sweaty. In fact it's lovely weather, not too hot like last week.

It sounds to me like you're just nervous about your job interview. Remember the person interviewing you WANTS to find someone for the job. They are not out to catch you out!

I was interviewing candidates for a job a couple of months ago and was desperate for the people to be good as I wanted someone good. And by good I really meant nice and easy to get on with.

So put on something cool (I would go for a summer dress) and some sturdy period pants and go out to show them how great you are!

Best of luck, you will smash it! I had an interview once in 32 degree heat and had sweat running down my face, I felt awful but I got the job. Just wear something as cool as possible, take a fan (or just a leaflet or something) and fan yourself if you need to. There might be air conditioning at the interview so try not to worry
