I have unearthed about 6 old mobiles. Noe are in the remotest bit saleable for use; where can I take them to get recycled?

TIA

Have you tried entering the details of the phone models on sites like Music Magpie? (Lots of other similar ones if you Google). They will buy phones from you in any condition; you won't get much cash for them but if your motivation is getting rid of them/ recycling, I think they recycle them for parts.

They can be recycled for parts.

I should add that the last time I bought a phone I paid £5 for recycling my old ones. I've still to bung them in the post though.

I've just sent some to Vodafone to be recycled. If they're new enough they're refurbished for people in need, if not they take the materials for recycling.

Sign up on their website and they'll send a prepaid envelope. You don't need to be a Vodafone customer, I think.

Our local tip has a skip for small appliances. They strip them down and use the parts.
