Taking an 8yo to Farnborough air show

Can anyone tell me if Farnborough air show is suitable for an 8yo?

DS has asked to go as he wants to see the new ideas. He’s enjoyed Duxford but I see Farnborough is much bigger.

As long as he doesn't mind loud noises! I'd take a pair of ear defenders. I went several times as a child, I think the earliest was when I was 4, but the aircraft are probably a bit noisier now, that was 60+ years ago.
