I’m thinking of getting a lodger but my boiler is leaking a bit of water, nothing major and I plan to replace it in a couple of months when I put together the money.
Will it fail the gas certificate check for tenancies for this reason? I have 2 possible interested people and a couple of engineers who I have been waiting for for three weeks so, if it is likely to fail the check I would like to tell the possible lodger asap so they can make other arrangements.
