LinkedIn accounts - are they a front to something else?

So one of my DH’s work colleagues follows and comments on lots of different LinkedIn accounts and we’re suspecting they’re a front to something else. We don’t care, just curious.

These profiles are all women, generally young, good looking, are all life coaches/life cheerleaders type “jobs” (🤮), they all post these ambiguous ‘love, live, laugh’ type posts, all followed and commented on by men. Nothing obviously smutty, but the photos are well produced and slightly suggestive.

Are they covertly promoting their OnlyFans profiles? It’s looks really suspicious but we’re very curious.

And why does she have a picture of Rick Astley on her wall?

I will not sit by and hear Rick Astleys good name be smeared!! 😅

I've never seen anything like that on LinkedIn either, or even close to it.

They certainly seem like women keen to make contact.

An important part of marketing is about reaching your audience and I'm sure there are plenty of men who would be interested in attractive women on LinkedIn and it's free for them to post there.

Weirdly I know a lot of women (actual real life women that I know) who like these kind of bullshit posts and then they appear on my feed. LinkedIn is full of scammers in general though, red flag any time you see a military profile.

Absolutely dying. 😅 Thank you for this.

What on earth are you searching to find shy like that? My LinkedIn is purely professional, my Facebook is locked down to actual friends, ditto insta. You don't need to see stuff like that it runs off the algorithms of what you like and interact with.

I see this sort of thing when people I’m connected with comment.

Im in IT marketing and I know a lot of sales people. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

I don't understand the question. Surely everyone has a picture of Rick Astley on the wall?
