Anyone bought a phone from Carphone Warehouse?

Phones died, need a new one ASAP.
Carphone warehouse do next day delivery, but if I go in store could I get one the same day?
I can wait a day, but I've got about an hour after work before I've got to be somewhere else, if I can get a phone in store same day I'll pop in but if they're just going to order it online to be delivered to me I'd rather spend my child free hour relaxing 🤣

If you go on their website you should be able to check in-store stock for a specific phone and a specific store. I've certainly done that before. Argos also worth a look if you want a PAYG phone today.

Larger Tesco stores might be better.

Carphone Warehouse take a very, VERY long time to complete the purchase.
