Does he look like he is starting to teeth?
He is not even 2 months old
Thank you

I looked into my DD mouth and could see a small hole in her gum.

And babies can start teething at any age as some babies are born with teeth.

I will check for a hole in his gum
Thank you!

Eh yes those look like two teeth at the top! Poor wee thing. I ve heard good things about aston and parsons teething gel. I haven’t used it myself tho. I wasn’t a fan of their powdered sachets.

The pharmacies around me are unfortunately closed. I only have teething granules that are for 3 months and older.
Anything I could do in the meantime?
Ive put his teether in the freezer

The only thing you can do in the meantime is try to comfort him as much as you can.

Marcusia · 19/06/2022 22:04

I will do that x

The good teething gels (lidocaine) are from 5/6 months. I didn't find the other bongela useful, I can't remember the minimum age on that

TulipsGarden · 20/06/2022 00:11

They might not come through anytime soon, teeth move around a lot and you might just have that hard ridge for a while. Usually the bottom ones come through first. When they're almost out you'll see a dark grey line or dent in the gum.

ladydimitrescu · 20/06/2022 00:23

They are often like that for ages, they don't look close to cutting, so I'd say no. I wouldn't be using anything unnecessary at less than two months tbh.

Mammabear500000 · 20/06/2022 20:13

It’s looks just like the gum anatomy, if it’s teeth you’d actually feel like a hard sharpish edge? Normally lower teeth come first also. So I think it’s just the gums xxx
