Tips on nice smelling house when away...

I usually open windows etc to have a pleasant smelling house but Im staying with a friend and dont want to come back to a musty house...any tips?

I'd just make sure everything's has been cleaned - toilets/bathrooms/kitchen.

Bleach down the sinks/loo.

Make sure bins are emptied and cleaned out.

I usually take the opportunity to run my washer on a hot wash with a Dettol cleaner in it, and a cleaning cycle on my dishwasher too, so that's done on our return.

If anyone has a spare key you could ask them to pop in on the morning you're due home to open all the windows so it'll be clean and fresh when you arrive.
