I’m home alone tonight for the first time in over 5 years

… and it feels strange.

I have 4 dc so there’s nearly always at least one other person here. I think the last time this happened was shortly after dh died 5 years ago.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad. No point to the post, just burbling to myself :)

My friend went from three kids and husband all at home to:
Kid number one went abroad for work
Kid number two joined the Navy
Kid number three started uni
Husband left (now divorced).
All within six months. She said it felt really weird and eventually got a lodger in!
