Which canaries in September with toddler?

I want to take my toddler abroad just the two of us for one final time before he needs his own plane seat. I'm also due with number 2 in February.

I've never been to the canaries and would love some advice about where best for a 5 months pregnant lady (so not on the booze) and a 23 month old? He loves sand and eats everything.

I've only been to Lanzarote but found Tui Blu Flamigo beach to really exceed all my expectations, lovely promenade to walk along to the much more touristy Playa Blanca too.

Costa Adeje in Tenerife

Don't do it. A 23 month old on your lap when pregnant sounds horrendous.

A 6 month old on my lap was bad enough when I flew with DS when younger.

You'll be uncomfortable for the entire flight and it'll be unfair on whoever is sat next to you trying to wrestle a toddler to sit still on your lap for a 4-4.5 hour flight. Wait an extra month or pay extra for a seat.

Unless there's a particular reason you want to go to the Canaries, you could also consider the Balearics.

Closer, shorter flight, sea will be warmer, lots of small sheltered cove beaches.

Somewhere like Cala D'Or Mallorca or loads of different places in Menorca.

We're going here soon.

But counterintuitively, the Canaries might be cheaper, both for the flight and accommodation and food while you're there, that's certainly been my experience.
