My 4 year old DD broke her wrist last week. She’s in a large cast, but doesn’t seem to be in pain. She’s a very active girl normally and obviously can’t do much at the moment. The impact of this seems to be that she isn’t going to sleep until really late. She’s not asleep now and doesn’t seem anywhere near it. We put her to bed normally at 8ish, and she’s just playing for hours in bed with her stuffed toys. She’s no bother, but it feels odd me going to sleep while she is still awake.
We have at least 4 more weeks of this. Does anyone have any suggestions or similar experiences?
