Hi, I have badly receded gums from years of over brushing (Used to have a very bad dental phobia so tried to keep them as clean as possible so I wouldn't need treatment. Oh the irony! Lol) and menopause seemed to make them worse. Last time I saw a dentist (2019!) she told me she could put fillings in the pockets but they would fall out anyway. I have been managing with sensitive toothpastes. Is there any NHS treatments I could ask for apart from the fillings for the pockets? I don't know much about other treatments so I thought I'd ask here for ideas of what I could ask for. (Also seeing a different dentist in the same practice, regular dentist off on maternity leave.)
Thanks.
