18 months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Got the all clear in autumn of last year.
This morning I noticed a significant change in the breast
that I had cancer in. Phoned my GP was seen face to face
within an hour. Referral was sent off while I was in the GPs
office.
A few hours later I got a call from my consultant to reassure
me that it was normal after my past treatment.
But gave me an appointment on Monday to actually see her
and I will be having an ultrasound to confirm what she has said.
With all the bad news re the NHS I wanted to say on this occasion
it's worked in me getting the answers I want sooner rather than later.
