Neighbours music driving me demented.

Small terraced houses, even smaller gardens. Gardens back on to other gardens too. Thankfully mostly surrounded by considerate neighbours who understand gardens have no soundproofing and that subjecting your neighbours to music everyday is selfish.

Until new neighbours moved in a few doors up a couple of months ago. Every. Single. Day. I can hear the boom boom bass noise coming from their garden/open doors. With my windows or doors closed, I can hear it. Same low bassy beat over and over and over.

They are incapable of living through an even slightly warm or sunny day without subjecting the rest of us their playlist of the day. It's now got to the point when I am hearing it when it's not even on, constantly muting the TV as I think I hear it. It has taken over my brain.

Just wanted to rant really and say if you are being subjected to the same thing at the moment you are not alone. Currently listening to it right now and can feel my blood pressure rising.

We've got neighbours like this. Although DH shouted over the fence at them to turn it down last year and so far this year it hasn't been too bad. All they need to do now is talk to each other instead of yelling at each other then life will be good.

My neighbours despise children and turn their music on every time we go outside to antagonise us. I'm not being paranoid, they admit it freely. It's absolutely infuriating.

We have a couple next to us who did this all of last summer. Every weekend was a little party. I think they are suffering under the delusion that they have a party pad with pool area when in reality we are a row of terraces with postage stamp sized gardens 😂

I've got the lady's phone number and I just very politely ask her to turn down the music and so far they've been a lot better this summer. I think some other neighbours were less polite which may have also got the message across.

I honestly think people just have no idea how the sound carries in summertime.

Contact your local council. Mine had an App, when the noise started I pressed record, then send. It automatically time stamped and recorded the decibels. Neighbour got a written warning that noise was an unacceptable level. It stopped.

Wow I need your council! We have to keep a diary then if they agree the diary shows it's bad enough, we can go on the list for actual physical recording equipment. The list has a two year wait.

Tell them this stops now! I suffered through months of it and I wish I had told them at the very start. They know what they are doing, they just dont care.

I will never understand people like this.
